Description
A leak-proof supply ceiling is a supply-air unit for clean operating theatres and other areas with the highest air-quality requirements. Filtered air is delivered evenly and steadily to the operating zone while a leak-protection layer below the HEPA bank limits the bypass of any leaking filter, so unfiltered air is kept out of the protected zone. The source rates the HEPA stage at 99.99% or above particle retention. The unit is made as factory-built modules that are joined on site, which keeps installation work inside the theatre short. The HEPA filter is replaced from above the ceiling, without entering the operating room, and supply airflow can be adjusted to the room's needs. The fully enclosed casing prevents outside contamination from entering the plenum.
