Description
Knife-edge HEPA filters are HEPA panels whose aluminium profile frame carries a perimeter knife edge (side curtain). The knife edge pushes into a gel-filled sealing channel of the matching housing, so the gel wraps around the blade and forms a continuous seal that gasket frames cannot achieve on uneven flanges. The source catalogue lists H13 at 99.97–99.99 % and H14 at 99.995–99.999 %, both at 0.3 µm. Multi-module constructions combine small filter units for even velocity across the face.
