Description
Sub-HEPA (EPA) panel filters are close-pleated blocks of ultra-fine glass fibre paper or polypropylene paper, with filtration efficiency between 95 % and 99.95 %. They capture 1–5 µm particles at moderate resistance and sit between medium-efficiency pre-filtration and terminal HEPA stages. The close-pleat construction gives a large media area in a shallow depth, and the sealed frame keeps bypass air to a minimum.
