Mini-pleat HEPA panels with a gel potting groove around the flange, sealing against a knife-edge frame for terminal positions in industrial and biological cleanrooms.
Description
Gel-seal HEPA filters are mini-pleat HEPA panels whose flange is potted with a gel groove around the perimeter. The groove presses onto the knife edge of the matching frame; the gel wraps the blade and forms a continuous seal that tolerates uneven flanges better than flat gaskets. The pack uses ultra-fine glass fibre media with protection mesh on both faces and an aluminium profile frame. They remove particles of 0.3 µm and above (H14 in the source table) and are used as terminal filters in industrial and biological cleanrooms, normally paired with knife-edge frames.
