Portable clean-air supply units

Self-contained fan filter units for spot supply of filtered air in clean zones, bought to add a local clean-air point quickly or to back up an existing ceiling system in semiconductor, electronics, laboratory and hospital areas.

Description

A portable clean-air supply unit filters dust particles from the air so that the air delivered to a clean work area meets a set cleanliness level. The unit works with a HEPA filter and a fan and is normally placed on the ceiling of the clean zone or work area to discharge filtered air evenly downwards. A light modular structure fits common ceiling grid systems. The motor has dual overload protection, high static pressure, low noise and low energy use, and total vibration stays below 1 mm/s with amplitude not over 3 um. Options include a pre-filter (G3 to G4), a chemical molecular filter, a fault indicator LED, a differential pressure gauge and an air velocity sensor.

Features

  • Light modular structure that fits common ceiling grid systems.
  • High-performance motor with dual overload protection, high static pressure, low noise and low energy use.
  • Even air discharge; source data states total vibration below 1 mm/s and amplitude not over 3 um.
  • Speed control from single-speed, three-speed or five-speed setting to stepless control, with run/fault indicator and a fault dry contact for monitoring.
  • Options: pre-filter (G3 to G4), chemical molecular filter, fault LED, differential pressure gauge and air velocity sensor.

Applications

  • Semiconductor, LCD, optoelectronics and precision instrument plants
  • Chemistry, biopharmaceutical and hospital clean areas
  • Research institutes and university laboratories
  • Aerospace, automotive, coating and printing workshops

Supply scope

What is supplied, and what stays with the buyer.

  • Fixed configurations only: module size, supply voltage, speed control stage, filter set and monitoring options are confirmed before quotation.
  • Each quoted configuration comes with its specification sheet and packing data per unit.
  • Replacement filters and spare motors are quoted with the units so first-line maintenance can be planned.
  • Placement on the ceiling structure, electrical connection and airflow check stay with the buyer or the buyer's contractor.

Configurations

Fixed configurations that can be quoted.

A configuration code fixes the dimensions, electrical data, materials and documents. Quote requests that reference a code skip the specification round.

Configurations for this family are quoted on request.

What we need to quote
